It's extremely versatile and has so many different uses. But what exactly is Castor and how can you incorporate it into your beauty routine? Castor Oil is a vegetable oil that is extracted by cold pressing the beans or seeds of the castor plant, Ricinus Communis if you want to be fancy! It’s an incredibly, rich, thick textured oil, almost a honey-like consistency. It is made up of a monounsaturated Omega 9 fatty acid called Ricinoleic Acid which makes up around 90% of the oil. It’s this unique composition that makes castor the super versatile oil we all love. Castor is an incredibly popular ingredient in many skin care products. Like many plant oils, Castor is super moisturising and nourishing for the skin. Castor is useful for preventing water loss from the skin which causes dryness and flakiness. It creates a barrier on the skin locking in moisture. Castor has powerful hair strengthening and nourishing properties. It smooths, and conditions as well as promoting gloss and shine. Castor Oil (Wonderolie) wordt gewonnen uit de vrucht van de Ricinus Communis: een plant met rode vruchten die heel snel groeit. Deze olie bestaat namelijk uit ongeveer 90% ricinolzuur. Dit is een onverzadigd omega-9-vetzuur die vooral helpt bij onzuiverheden en het verzachten van de (hoofd)huid. Verder rijk aan omega-3, omega-6 vetzuren en vitamine E. Dus effectief voor het voeden van het haar, de haarfollikel en de huid eromheen!
Niet alleen voor haargroei bestemd: Het zit daarnaast vol ontstekingsremmende en antioxiderende eigenschappen en wordt beschouwd als een van de meest waardevolle laxeermiddelen Het helpt bij het verwijderen van roos, verlicht constipatie, geneest ontstekingen en rugpijn.
Gebruikswijze
Kan plaatselijk worden aangebracht en oraal worden ingenomen.
Gebruik op zichzelf of met zoete amandel- en rode ui olie voor een meer gevoede, allround haarverzorging. Gewoon in de hoofdhuid masseren tot het volledig is opgenomen, een paar uur voor het wassen. Voor de beste resultaten tegen roos of seborrheic dermatitis, combineren met Hemani knoflookolie.
