Physcia grisea plant, a fungus that belongs to the specie of plants called grisea and also known as lichens were examined in this research. This research work looked into (i) causes of ALT high levels (ii) Causes of increased and decreased Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP). The results showed that Physcia grisea is a useful agent in the management of increased Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT) related diseases e.g. Toxic Hepatitis, cirrhosis. It was also recommended for weight management.
