Znade Alexeievna Ragozin (1835- 1924), was a Russian American author who wrote Chaldea: From the Earliest Times to the Rise of Assyria (1886), Vedic India as Embodied Principally in the Rig- Veda (1895), Siegfried, The Hero of the North, and Beowulf (1898), History of the World (1899) and Little Russian Masterpieces (1920).
